Desi was born in Italy and she started dancing at the age of 14 in a private dance school where she acquired knowledge in ballet, contemporary dance and tai chi.

At the age of 18 she was selected for Codarts, Rotterdam Dance Academy where she graduated in 2016. She danced a full year with the company Het Internationaal danstheater, under the direction of Jan Linkens and later she went to Israel and joined the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company for an other season.

Back in Europe she was involved in a project in Graz and later she moved to Vienna where she joined the UFO Collective. This group is busy with different productions/projects in collaboration with different artists in the Viennese area.

Desi is also assisting Alberto Franceschini in his projects, at the moment with the MUK University.

As freelancer, she joined the Cascade Dance Theatre in Wales for the production  ‘Frankenstein’ and she was part of the ‘gaga project’ in St. Pölten.

Desi joins Kristina’s Broadway Connection as a contemporary and acro teacher with main focus in floorwork.

Nina was born in 1986 in Nicaragua. She studied there at the ‘Universidad nacional de Ingeniería’ and received  her Master in Architectur.

In Vienna she attended the MUK ‘Musik und Kunst PU’ (former KONS ‘Konservatorium Wien PU’) and received her BA in contemporary dance education.

Since 2007 she is dancer in “Tepenahuatl”, the nationalen folklore ballet if Nicaragua (Director: Blanca Guardado, “Creativity Award” by the World Intellectual Property Organization).

Nina is member of the theatre society “Drugo*s”, theatre acts: “Lágrimas sobre el musgo” in Biblioteca Alemana, Managua 2009, performance and exhibition “Materia Bruta” in MGA-LAB, Managua 2009.

Her choreographical and ecucational engagement led to projects with “Tanz die Toleranz” in Austria and Moldavia, and with the International Charity Children Flotilla “Kids for freedom” in Turkey, etc.

Since 2011 Nina lives and works as self-employed dancer and choreographer in Vienna and as of the summer semester 2019 she is also part of Kristina’s Broadway Connection team.

Julia Nina Kneussel was born in Vienna. She studied Acting at the Conservatory in Vienna.

She had many engagements as actress, e.g. at the Theater in der Josefstadt, Dschungel Wien, KosmosTheater Wien, Theater des Lachens Berlin, Theaterhaus Stuttgart, Burgtheater Wien, TAG-Theater, dietheater Künstlerhaus, KUZ Mainz, WUK, as well as  radio moderator and Assistant Stage Director.

Next to her work as actress, in 2008 she had her directing debut. 2013 her production of Katharina Tiwald’s “Die Kümmerinnen” won the audience’s price at the Future Theater Talents Competition at the Theater Drachengasse. There were further productions at the Theater Drachengasse and the KosmosTheater Vienna, and she founded “leuchtkraft”.

Currently Julia Nina Kneussel lives and works as independent director and lecturer in Vienna.

Already during her education as professional dancer and musical performer at the Broadway Dance Academy – which she graduated in January 2012 – she got her first engagements and could be seen at Magna Racino in “Best of Disney” and as Victoria in “CATS” (2009). In December 2009 she was recruited for the dance ensemble of “Musical Rocks” (Choreography: Doris Marlies) and performed in Fall 2010 in Vienna (Museums Quarter), Munich and Triest. In April 2012 Natascha was hired as Soloist Tap Dancer for the “Hey Sailor” presentation of Mac Cosmetics.

Other jobs she had where a performance on the side of Whoopie Goldberg at the Life Ball 2010 (Choreography: Marcus Tesch) and at the Life Ball 2012 (Choreography: Kim Duddy). At the Wiener Festwochen 2013 she was hired as dancer for the opera “Join” by Frank Kogelmann and Alfred Zellinger. From September till December 2012 she was responsible for the organisation and was part choreographer for the 2 hours dance/vocal performance of “pur.e.ntertainment” at the “Kick Off Gala” of Uniqa International.

She performed in many ads, TV and shows at diverse event, as well as in the music video of the Pussycat Dolls “Jai Ho”. In September 2013 she played the role of “Foxy” in the World Premiere of “Bounce” in Vindobona, where she could proof her talent as one of the leads.

From 2015 to 2017 sie was ensemble member of “Time for Musicals” and performed in several shows in Metropol Wien and Theater Akzent both as soloist and as part of the ensemble.

In the seasons 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19 Natascha was dancer in “Hoffmanns Erzählungen” at the Volksoper Wien. 2017 she was dancer for Gloria Gayner in Vienna. In summer 2018, she was one of 4 performers of “Weana Tanz” at “Schloss Pöggstall Kulturtage” contributing as actress, singer and choreographer.

Natascha participated in diverse training workshops like with the famous Rockettes at the Radio Dance City Hall in New York, the “Dance Olympus” in Las Vegas, the Pinapple Studios in London as well as the “Dancer’s Inc. Dance Convention” in Portland, where she also gathered international experience.

For 8 years she participated in various national and international dance championships for musical and showdance – e.g. in Las Vegas and Portland, Maine – and won several National and International Championship Titles as Soloist and in the Group. In Summer 2012 in Portland, Maine at the Dancer’s Inc. Competition she even won the Elite Award in the Solo Jazz category.

Besides her young age, Maria has already a long career as dancer which brought her to the State Opera (Judith Gerber, Elisabeth Schwarzbauer) and the Vienna Conservatory. Famous artists like KrisTina Decker and Maria Blahous, or Alexandra Young-Schmidt and Lisa Chase influenced the style of the young Viennese.

The mezzo-soprano took vocal lessons from KrisTina Decker, Thomas Frank and Maria Alsatti. For acting and speech training she took lessons from Gudrun Lercher and Nicole Weber.

In 2008 she graduated her Musical Degree at the Broadway Dance Academy with the Stage Readiness Examination by the Joint Commission.

Already during her dance education she tool over solo roles in the ballets Bidlake Wood, Peter Pan, Alice im Spiegel, and ensemble roles in “The Rhythm of Dance”, “Save the Last Dance” and “Young Stars of Tomorrow”.As part of the Kiddy Contest under the lead of Ivana Neuweg (1996-2000) she was on TV together with Prof. Kaiser. She also performed in various musical like “Starlight Express”, “Annie 2.02”, “Bugsy Malone”, “Peter Pan – The Next Generation”, “Cindy’s Dream”, “Akida” (in Theater Akzent), “Starlight Express” in Museums Quarter.

Further engagements at Anastacia’s performance at the LIFE BALL 2006, VAMPIRE, FALCO LEBT!, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER and BEST OF DISNEY at Magna Racino.

Maria worked as a choreographer for a know entertainment agency in Cypress. Since 2006 she shares her knowledge with the next generation in the Broadway Connection, especially the Broadway Company. The last years she toured with the flowmotion dance company around the world.
